Areas covered

What PierScan
documents:

The robot documents every accessible area of your crawl space across ten categories. Areas the robot cannot reach are logged as limitations by zone.
Structure
Piers, beams, joists, and foundation walls — surface deterioration, pier settlement, gaps, cracks, spalling, evidence of prior repair.
Moisture
Standing water, saturated or damp soil, drainage patterns, wet areas under pipes, mineral deposits, staining. Thermal cold spots that indicate moisture intrusion.
Systems
Plumbing visibility — active drips, staining, wet areas. Electrical — aged or damaged wiring, exposed runs. Insulation and vapor barrier condition. Ventilation — blocked or damaged vents.
Environment
Biological indicators — documented by photo and neutral description only. Thermal anomalies — elevated temperatures, cold spots, mobile heat signatures. Access limitations logged by zone.

What the robot found
A narrated 2–3 minute video of every significant observation. Timestamped. Edited to what matters.
Heat and moisture signatures
Every thermal anomaly captured — elevated temperatures, cold spots, and mobile signatures the visible camera can't see.
Every observation, pinned and labeled
15–25 still images each annotated with an arrow and neutral caption. Biological indicators, structural conditions, plumbing, electrical, moisture.
Where in your foundation
A numbered zone map of your foundation with every finding pinned to its exact location. Nothing floats without a location.
What the camera saw, in plain language
A complete bulleted list of every observation in neutral documentation language. No diagnosis. No interpretation.
What it means and who to call
Every documentation term translated into plain English, with the right licensed professional to contact for each type of finding.
